Urology and nephrology

At La Arboleda Veterinary Hospital, we are aware that a large percentage of pets will suffer from a urological or nephrological problems during their lives.

More than 70% of cats may suffer kidney failure at some point, while dogs that have not been sterilized can suffer from prostate problems from the age of five in more than 80% of cases.

If you notice that your pet has any symptoms such as significant weight loss, urinates excessively or drinks a lot of water, don’t hesitate to contact us. Also, if you notice blood or some unknown element in the urine, it’s necessary to come to the clinic, diagnose and treat your pet.
